About Ryan

I've spent my career building things that help people learn...and making sure those things actually work.

I co-founded a venture-backed edtech company that grew from nothing to $8.5 million in revenue, building learning systems for everyone from Air Force pilots to professional athletes to MrBeast's creator academy. Before that, I helped design an MBA program in Africa, launched leadership academies on three continents, and created a summer camp that served hundreds students before I graduated college.

But in 2022, something shifted. I watched kids start asking about ChatGPT. I saw teachers panicking, parents confused, and schools scrambling to write policies for technology they didn't understand. And I realized: the people who know AI aren't talking to families. And the people talking to families don't really know AI.

So I built what I couldn't find.

Evergreen Education started as a consulting practice helping schools figure out AI. I co-developed the first comprehensive K-12 AI Literacy Framework (60 competencies and 250 practical lessons) now used in districts serving over 100,000 students. I've hosted national conferences, trained hundreds of educators, and been highlighted by the International Baccalaureate, FETC's District Administration, and multiple education and parenting podcasts.

But frameworks don't raise kids. Teachers are overwhelmed. And parents keep asking me: what do I actually do with my 12-year-old?

That's why I started the cohorts. Small groups. Live instruction. Real supervision. The kind of thing I'd want for my own kids: learning AI from someone who's been neck-deep in this work, not someone who just discovered ChatGPT last year.

I'm not here to sell you on AI hype or scare you with AI doom. I'm here because your kid is going to use these tools for the rest of their life, and someone should teach them how to do it well.

If that resonates, I'd love to meet your family.
